Location & Convenience – 9/10

One of the best things about Harbour Plaza is its direct access to the PATH, making it incredibly convenient, especially in the winter. You can walk indoors to Union Station, providing easy access to the subway, GO trains, and VIA Rail. Nearby, there's a Loblaws for groceries, along with plenty of dining options at the RBC Waterfront Plaza food court and restaurants in Union Station.

The condo is also within walking distance of the Financial District, making it ideal for those who work downtown. In warmer months, the Harbourfront offers great walking trails, and Love Park, though small, is right outside the building.

Building & Amenities – 7/10

The lobby feels a bit dark, which may not give off the most welcoming first impression. Elevators are decent but can get busy, as the building has a high number of residents. The gym is Pure Fitness which is a commercial gym is better than average—not by no means luxury. It’s often crowded and not the nicest gym in the area. The view from the windows is directly to the gardiner not that relaxing.

A downside is the lack of visitor parking, which can be inconvenient for guests. Additionally, drop-off and pick-up areas get very congested, making it frustrating for ride-sharing and deliveries.

Units & Living Experience – 7/10

Some south-facing units have nice views, but certain layouts aren’t the most efficient due to irregular shapes. Property management is responsive—I had a leak once, and they handled it well. However, with high tenant turnover, there’s less of a community feel, and you likely won’t get to know your neighbors.

Nearby Dining & Lifestyle – 8/10

Beyond the PATH and Union Station food options, there are plenty of great cafes and restaurants in the area. Aroma and Impact Kitchen are nearby for coffee and healthy meals, while Kinka Izakaya and Kinton Ramen offer good dining options. The Harbourfront is a great perk for those who enjoy walking by the water.

Final Verdict

Harbour Plaza is a great choice for those who prioritize location, transit access, and urban convenience. While the building can feel a bit impersonal due to high turnover, and the gym and lobby could be better, its direct PATH connection, proximity to the Financial District, and solid property management make it a strong option for city living.
