Location: 10/10
One of the biggest selling points of Aura Condos is undoubtedly its location. Situated right in the heart of downtown Toronto, you truly couldn’t ask for a better spot. With everything you need within walking distance, you don’t even need a car. IKEA is right there, making home goods shopping super convenient. Across the street, you’ll find coffee shops for your caffeine fix, and nearby landmarks like Eaton Centre and Congee Queen are just a short walk away. College Park, located beside the building, hosts lots of events, particularly in the summer, and a variety of dining options are in the immediate area. For those who enjoy bubble tea, popular spots like The Alley and Baroness are only a 2-minute walk away, with newly opened restaurants like Lucky Donkatsu adding to the area's vibrant dining scene. Plus, the subway is easily accessible, making commuting a breeze.

Building & Amenities: 8/10
Aura is an impressive building with 79 floors, making it one of the tallest residential towers in the city. The sheer size of the building is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it's a lively and energetic place to live with tons of activity and residents. On the other hand, with around 1,000 units, it can feel constantly busy. Thankfully, the elevators are well-organized, with separate banks for different floors, which helps reduce wait times. The building itself has a commercial-grade gym (Crunch Fitness) that's spacious and equipped with a wide range of machines, which is great for fitness enthusiasts. It’s a perfect fit for those who thrive in a lively, energetic environment, but it might not be the best choice for someone seeking quiet or solitude.

The views from the higher floors are absolutely spectacular. With unobstructed views of the city, you’ll get a panoramic sight of downtown Toronto, which is a definite highlight of living here. If you’re someone who values natural light and expansive views, you’ll love the higher floors of this building.

Unit Layout & Design: 6/10
When it comes to the individual units, the layout leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the units have a “shoebox” feel to them – long, narrow, and often lacking in natural light. The dark flooring used in many units isn’t to everyone’s taste, and the minimal window space can make some of the units feel a bit cramped.

Overall Vibe: 8/10
Aura Condos is perfect for those who love a dynamic, vibrant urban lifestyle. The area is buzzing with energy, offering plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The proximity to transit makes it incredibly convenient for getting around the city, and the views from higher floors are stunning. However, the units themselves could be a bit more thoughtfully designed, and the building's sheer size may not suit everyone. If you’re a fan of city living and don’t mind the busy atmosphere, this place is a great choice.
