Review of 33 Harbour Square – 9/10

Location – 9/10

33 Harbour Square is ideally situated in the heart of Toronto’s waterfront, offering stunning views of Lake Ontario and easy access to downtown. The proximity to the lake, parks, and major attractions makes it a prime location for both convenience and lifestyle.

Beyond the building itself, the surrounding area adds to its appeal:

  • Steps from the Waterfront – The Harbourfront walking trail and nearby parks make it easy to enjoy the outdoors.
  • Cafés & Restaurants Nearby – Aroma, Impact Kitchen, and the RBC Waterfront food court offer great dining options.
  • Direct Access to the PATH – Just across the street, providing indoor access to downtown during the winter.
  • Grocery & EssentialsFarm Boy is nearby for fresh groceries, adding to the convenience of daily living.

Amenities – 10/10

The amenities at 33 Harbour Square are truly exceptional and set it apart from many other buildings:

  • Half Olympic-Sized Saltwater Pool – Located on the penthouse level, this pool offers breathtaking views of the lake and is a rare luxury in condo living.
  • Gym with 20-Foot Ceilings – The fitness center is spacious, bright, and well-equipped, making it a joy to work out in. Has a bench press, squat rack, peloton bikes and other equipment.
  • Private Shuttle Bus – The building offers its own shuttle service with leather seats, providing a hotel-like experience for residents.
  • Car Wash – A convenient and unique feature for car owners.
  • Squash Courts and Children’s Playroom – Great for families and fitness enthusiasts alike.
  • Visitor Parking Lot – Unlike many condos, 33 Harbour Square provides easy access to visitor parking, which is a huge plus for hosting guests.

Elevators – 9/10

The elevator system here is well-designed and efficient. With 3 elevators on the south end and 3 on the north end (totaling 6 elevators for 35 floors), wait times are minimal. It’s worth noting that the building feels less dense because many units are two-story, reducing the number of floors served by the elevators. Additionally, the ground-level corridor linking the north and south towers is a major advantage over neighboring buildings like 55/65 Harbour Square, where you’d need to take an elevator to the 7th floor to switch sides.

Property Management – 8/10

The property management team is generally responsive and maintains the building well. The amenities are kept in excellent condition, and the unique features (like the shuttle service and car wash) show a commitment to resident convenience.

Unit Layouts – 9/10

One of the standout features of 33 Harbour Square is its spacious unit layouts, which are becoming increasingly rare in Toronto’s condo market. Many units are over 1,000 sqft, providing ample living space compared to newer developments. The two-story designs and large windows allow for plenty of natural light, making the units feel bright and airy.

For those who appreciate scenic views, many units offer stunning water views of Lake Ontario, creating a serene and picturesque living environment.

Overall Experience – 9/10

33 Harbour Square is a standout building in Toronto’s waterfront community. Its luxurious amenities, efficient elevator system, and unique features like the shuttle service and visitor parking make it a top choice for condo living. While no building is perfect, 33 Harbour Square comes close, offering a premium living experience that’s hard to beat.

worth noting that these older condos include all utilities 200-300 less. I lived in harbour square before. wifi is also included!
