Cresford’s One Thousand Bay is a 32-storey glass tower at Bay and St. Joseph, backing onto the University of Toronto and steps from Yorkville and two subway lines. The 458-unit building has one of the stronger amenity packages in the corridor — a rooftop infinity pool, gym with yoga studio, media and games rooms, party room, and 24-hour concierge. Suites run compact with floor-to-ceiling glass and oversized stacked balconies, which suits students, young professionals, and investors drawn to the Discovery District. The trade-off is density: this is one of the busiest pockets of downtown, and with a Cresford-built tower it’s worth doing homework on the reserve fund and building management before buying.
